Of course, reading an article is a basic solution for finding out how to do this. Of course, not every learner will benefit more from watching a clip, but there’s no denying that video has taken the internet by storm as of late. Users want to see things in relation to reading them. If it can be demonstrated with video, it might be better to take that route with your content.

Likewise, in the current age of the internet, people like lists and photo sets. The evidence is everywhere to prove it. Log onto your favorite content website, and it’s most successful content is likely going to be pieces with pictures to accompany them.

Photos are pertinent to creating useful content. Photos not only include pictures, but they also encompass graphs, tables, and infographics. If your content can be expressed using photos, then by all means, take that route. This is simply because people are more interested in perusing a list of photos rather than reading paragraph after paragraph about the same subject. No matter how well written a piece of content is, users are going to be more interested in photos and pictures if they’re available.

Overall, your job in earning links rather than having to build them yourself is to create great content that will keep people engaged and returning for more down the line. Of course, this might take a bit of brain-storming on your end, but the time spent planning will never touch the time you’ll spend building links for content that isn’t all that interesting.
