It’s time to set up your e-commerce website, and you want to do everything right.  You don’t want to deal with any of those painful Google penalties that hold other businesses back.  You just want to get on Google, get ranked and get selling.  To do so properly, do all of this as best you can.
Select a Branded Domain Name
Once upon a time, you could create an exact match domain for your keyword, but Google put the kibosh on the whole idea.  Now, the best idea is to create a domain name that matches your brand name.  That’s why www.amazon.com is such a powerhouse, and www.buytennisballs.com is not.  Okay, so there’s a little more to Amazon’s success than using a branded domain, but you get the point.
Use SEO-Friendly URLs
