Elias Manolopoulos is the founder of Aeon Ads, a digital marketing agency that helps brands amplify their online presence. Previously, he worked in the finance industry as a trader and an analyst before he decided to make the leap into tech. His educational background includes NYU and Duke University. His interests include advertising, social media and creating communication strategies that produce results.

What would you say is unique and/or challenging about the Las Vegas SEO industry?

“One thing many people don’t know about Vegas is that it has a thriving tech community that clearly understands the importance of digital marketing, especially in a city where attention spans are limited.”

How does your agency stand out in a crowded market like Las Vegas?

“We construct and launch campaigns online with the help of AI. Everything we do is data driven in a way that almost guarantees success.”

Can you share a success story from a local SEO campaign centered around the Las Vegas area? Include any stats and highlights if possible!

“A local real estate agent once approached us with a project. We focused for six months on getting more backlinks, optimizing his website and creating quality content. They saw an increase in web traffic by 75% that converted into home buyers.”

What is the best advice you ever received in business?

“The best advice we ever received was make sure you are well-funded and when you fail, pick up the pieces and try again. Words to literally live by.”

What do you think is the most important quality that makes an agency truly great? 

“The most important quality for an agency is the people who work there. Success is not possible without teamwork. Our best campaigns were a cumulative effort where everyone contributed with their input.”

Any predictions for the future of SEO?

“I see SEO becoming all about automation, voice, mobile and local. With constant updates to the algorithm, search aims to provide you instantly with the right answer to enhance your user experience. Even though voice has not been monetized yet, it looks like a big part of the future. Rankbrain is already using AI to deliver results and with everyone being on the go, mobile and local SEO are already a big part of the equation.”

What is your reaction when you hear that “SEO is dying”?

“SEO is not dying; it’s changing form. With information snippets and pay-per-click campaigns taking up most of the space on your screen, it’s getting harder to get organic traffic to your website. There are certain things you can do to make up for that, such as increasing your focus on video, social media and eCommerce SEO to boost your visibility.”

What do you think is the most important contributor of keeping clients happy?

“Keeping a client happy is our No. 1 priority, so we often go out of our way to please them. I believe communication is key here and it starts from the very first meeting. If you listen closely to your clients, they will give you all the answers you are looking for. Then you just have to deliver the results you promised and a return on their investment. Easier said than done sometimes, but with digital marketing everything has become more transparent. The numbers on the dashboard will tell your story if you play your cards right.”
