This WeWork location’s hot desk area is smaller and more intimate than the others in Philly, which makes it perfect for a heads-down day of work or a 1:1 workday with a team member. The staff is really sweet, including the custodial folks, and always willing to help. I visited in winter, so I didn’t get a chance to visit their rooftop events space, but I’ve seen pictures, and can’t wait to return in the spring or summer to check it out.The hot desk space is a loft with a kind of balcony area with couches on the 2nd layer, another couch area with high top tables adjacent to that, and a simple windowed work desk on the first floor. The long-term and individual office spaces are on other floors, as are the restrooms – keep that in mind. There’s a small kitchen on the lower level of the hot desk floor with all the normal WeWork amenities – water, tea, coffee, beer on tap, refrigerators.Big tip: if you’re a WeWork member not local to this location, but want to work here, book early in advance! There isn’t a lot of day-of availability because the space is so homey and little – don’t risk it.
