I would not recommend GoSite for any established business. If your business is just starting out, and you don’t already have a website or processes in place for client communications and advertising, they MIGHT work for you but proceed with caution. I unfortunately purchased a year’s of service with a payment up-front as it was discounted and most certainly regret that decision as we continually have had issues over the 6 months in trying to work with them and their product. They strongly pitch a website, which is later explained to just be a basic feature they offer to help keep things in one place , the main purpose to their product is to simplify and streamline client communications , and that couldn’t be farther from the truth, and last but not least, the additional features they offer are basically not useable without making several sacrifices as a business trying to provide excellent customer service. From day one, the website caused issues and had a very costly impact on our SEO rankings and online presence which was a concern for us and several discussions were had regarding this and they said they would pull all code from the backend of our old website which will allow everything to work properly which it did not.. The first month it didn’t work , when it was launched it was launched incorrectly, and when it was working, it wasn’t impressive. It definitely didn’t live up to the hype that was set up by the sales rep. After two weeks of things working and having been set up and linked, our business leads and potential client contacts dropped resulting in a significant loss of business and ultimately income. Despite having brought this concern to my GoSite rep, and being told the team will look into this and pending the outcome, if responsible, GoSite will work to make it right , the issue went unresolved for 6+ weeks. During the past 6 months all identified issues were reported to my GoSite rep as well as the support team/help desk . Every single issue from, the application not working as expected to being unable to use important features such as scheduling and automated communication, was met with zero compassion, dismissive responses, unhelpful demeanor and an overall blame on well because of COVID . That response was disrespectful for them to use as an excuse/cop out. Think twice before using this company to help your business as it’s likely going to cause more issues than it will resolve. If your dead set on trying out their product, I suggest paying month to month, as whether their services/product/customer service don’t work for your business, you will not be getting your money back regardless of how much back-up support you have.
