This, for me, was an unexpectedly next level experience, and I have nothing but appreciation, gratitude, and respect for the work that Jennifer and her whole team at Ichor Studios put in to guide me to a much more refined business name and logo that has a deep well of meaning for me.Besides just asking for references like images and phrases, she more importantly took me through what felt almost like a guided exercise that helped me recall some of my most impactful memories that molded me into the person I am today. With it, we found a couple patterns of my life, in particular the importance of water to me, having almost always lived near the ocean, waterfalls and rivers. The inspiration for the new name and logo clicked, and from there we went into the rest of the creative process, such as deciding between a realistic vs abstract design.We had it after only a couple drafts, and I’m so pleased with what we came up with. To a potential customer it might just look like a cool little design, and you might not necessarily know what I do when you look at it. What she helped me understand, though, was that it had to have meaning to me. I’m the only one who looks at it every single day, and when I do I see my daily affirmation and my reminder of why I do what I do. What can I say about my experience? Working with Jennifer from Ichor has been such a pleasure! First, my experience with logo design. I went to 2 previous designers and after spending over $3000.00 and wasting close to 2 years I still was not happy. I’ve worked with Jennifer and the Ichor Studios team for about 6 months. They have provided high quality, pro bono work for our small organization with limited financial resources. Where should I start? I hired Jennifer and her team to start over on my original website and they turned it around completely. I was paying monthly for a company that built the website and it all turned into a joke after I hired Ichor. They rebuilt the whole thing from scratch, it was a night and day difference! It’s now more new age and easy to navigate. Jennifer has always been available whenever I text or call for email help or whatever else I can’t figure out. Literally almost 2 years between even!
