Lovely and Quiet place to live! Muy amables las personas del concierge

My girlfriend and I used to rent from here. It is a nifty place and the loft style was awesome.

This is the third battery park city building we’ve lived in and it’s by far the best. That’s right, battery park, despite it’s name this building is not in Tribeca; although it’s just about a 5 minute walk to there. I’m surprised by some of the negative reviews. We haven’t had any issues with the management. Everyone is very professional and respectful. My only complaint is that dogs are not allowed on the grass in the park but that’s more of a battery park city restriction. Having the dog run in front of the building helps.

I have lived here for 5 years and love the building, neighborhood and staff. I happen to know that one of these reviews was written by a smoker because he made my life miserable until he was evicted.

Related mgmt. incompetence to maintain basic needs such as consistent working elevators. It seem to break down every 6-8 weeks out of service for days(last one weeks) and cause mass issue for apartment dwellers. We have lots of families with strollers and kids and this frequent issue is not acceptable. I would not recommend this building to my friend. But the workers are very good and trying to do there best, but blame goes to the related building mgmt. Can the mgmt. make this work? Whatever happened to frequent proactive maintenance check. If

The Assistant General Manager at this building – Joni, is very ineffective. Takes forever to respond to emails and never answers the phone. The only way to get in touch with this woman is to physically go into the management office, during office hours, which is difficult if you work.You’ll also have to deal with doormen who act like they are doing you a favor by doing their job. As other reviewers have mentioned, the so called services by some staff at this building are just awful.
