I once worked for Pear Analytics and was terminated. Not ashamed to admit that, but would love to educate everyone on the reasoning as to why. This is not your disgruntled employee review, this is real world stuff that only those with morals and values can appreciate. Long story short, Pear Analytics had 30+ clients in the Paid Media department, and one employee. That only employee for 3 months, was me. They were attempting to find someone to assist me, but they never could. They fired me 2 weeks after I had my first child with my then fiance, because I couldn’t keep up with the workload of managing an entire department by myself with no support, a new daughter, and demands for 50+ hours of work productivity. In all honesty? Yes, I 100% dropped the ball. I just simply couldn’t keep up, and because it’s in my nature to want to deliver and achieve, I kept saying yes to their requests. But I just couldn’t deliver. They didn’t care that I just had a child, they didn’t care that I was the only person in the department, it was simply just numbers to them. MONEY numbers. Upon being terminated, there was supposed to be an exchange of my equipment they provided me to work and my final paycheck. I was never provided with proper instructions on how to deliver those assets back to the company. So I didn’t bother to keep in touch with someone who had just terminated me. Instead of reaching out to me personally, Tracie Mendoza who is their Chief Operating Officer, contacted her brother, who works for the police department, to mediate the exchange. I still have the correspondence between her brother and I on file, in which he states that once the equipment is returned, they would send me a final check of $1500. The equipment was returned, as I do have the tracking information still to this day; however, they never paid me. Just had a child, they overworked me LOL, fired me, and then didn’t want to pay me my last check? Any of the clients that are reading this or potential clients to come, know that it was JUST ME, behind your account during those times, and I was managing 30 others, along with assisting the sales team. That’s why your numbers were tanking, and if you’re a current client wondering what’s going on over there, probably a whole lot of the same thing. All I wanted, was for them to honor their commitment and to pay me my final paycheck, but they didn’t do that, so I figured I’d share a little bit of honesty, while openly embarrassing myself, because I don’t have shame in admitting they fired me, that I couldn’t keep up with the work, but that still doesn’t give them the right to steal. If anyone has any questions about Pear Analytics, I’m an open book, I’ll be here for anyone that needs.

After struggling for the past 2 years to get a handle on our company’s Ad Words budget I surprised myself by answering a cold email offering to take over this service, and I am so glad that I did. Although I was extremely wary in the beginning to relinquish control of this area of our marketing to an outside company, after only 1 month with Pear Analytics, they optimized my account and reduced our CPC to 1/3 of what we had been paying. Ad Words continues to get more complicated with every new release and managing this program in-house just does not make sense anymore. Even adding their management fees into our CPA, we are still under half of where we were before. Awesome company! I highly recommend.
