Updated review: I have lived in a two-bedroom townhouse unit at the Village for 1.5 years. My experience at the Village overall has been a very positive one. The management is in general also very responsive to our requests and questions. There are several things that make Village a great place to live:1. The apartment utilizes online system for requesting repair. Every time I request a repair, minor or major, someone usually will show up within 24 hours to repair the problem. I had multiple issues with the AC unit and the management decided to replace it with a brand new unit.2. Pricing. I had renewed my lease twice since my first lease. Both times, I was pleasantly surprised about the very reasonable price increase. The first time there was only a small rent increase. The second time, there was no rent increase. This is definitely not one of those apartments that will offer you an initial low rate and then jack up the rent when you renew your lease. It is very hard to find an apartment like this nowadays. 3. Amenities. Swimming pool, hot tub, clubhouse, gym, tennis court, and car wash/vacuum port are all very well maintained. One thing that deserves mentioning is their secure package system. UPS and Fedex will deliver tenants’ packages to a locker room. You will receive a code by text/email whenever you get a package and you can use the code to open the locker to get your package. I have never lost a package while living here.4. Neighborhood. Very convenient and next to the Baldwin lake. We just have to cross the street whenever we want to ride our bikes on the trail around the lake. The neighborhood is also very quiet and safe.
