I want to first say that the Sagefrog team is very friendly, and responsive. You will not be disappointed with their customer service or Account Management team. With that said, the issues we had with working with them was, while our website looked beautiful from the outside, it was failing pretty terribly on the backend (something that took several months for our team to realize – after losing about half of our organic site traffic). We kept thinking that our loss of traffic was due to launching a new site and after some time we would see it bounce back one Google had some time to crawl , but after having another company audit the backend design (after several months of traffic decline), there were a number of web design 101 flaws that were missed completely by the Sagefrog code writing team. I hate writing reviews like this, but I know Sagefrog comes highly recommended from Hubspot, which is why we went with them, but our experience with Sagefrog just didn’t hit the mark. We are now in the process of working with a different marketing partner to build our site traffic back to where it once was, and tirelessly working to regain authority on some of our web pages we once ranked very well on. I do have another friend that has used SageFrog in the last year and they are experiencing a similar issue. I cannot speak on their behalf, but it sounds like our coding issues were not just a one off thing. Hopefully this review helps anyone out there looking for a complete website redesign. Do your research, and make sure you are getting quality front AND back end work – I wish we had dug a little deeper beforehand.
