We’re excited to have interviewed Chicago SEO expert Pradeep Kumaar from Stan Ventures for the next installment of our Featured SEO Expert Series!

Stan Ventures is one of SEOblog’s Top SEO companies in Chicago.

Pradeep Kumaar is the founder and CEO of Stan Ventures, an Indo-American white label SEO company. He has been working in the world of marketing for more than a decade. Kumaar helps startups, entrepreneurs and small business owners to build trust, boost engagement and strengthen sales.

What would you say is unique and/or challenging about the Chicago SEO industry?

“What I find unique about the SEO industry are its cross-cultural factors and the talent involved. The global SEO landscape is constantly evolving and growing at a rampant pace. It is open to tech-savvy individuals and marketing enthusiasts. The industry has become very competitive these days, and the emphasis is now on adding value rather than just providing raw data. We strive hard to be known as one of the top agencies globally by enhancing the reputation of our clients with our products and exceptional service.

“The SEO industry presents quite a few unique challenges. From my perspective, selling your value proposition is the biggest challenge, as there are many consultants and high-performing digital marketing companies in the SEO industry. Currently, with the ongoing global pandemic, we have adapted the remote working culture, maintaining uninterrupted business continuity. Ensuring brand consistency is another major challenge we are always facing.”

How does your SEO agency stand out in a crowded market like the Chicago area?

“Being an Indo-American SEO firm, I’d say we are unique. We have a mix of talent from the U.S.A and India in our arsenal. The diverse work culture is an added advantage for us and our team is well-versed in different markets, with a strong U.S. native knowledge and global technical expertise. I think this gives us the edge over most competitors. Our pricing model is very reasonable and transparent, with a well-defined process. These factors make us stand out from the rest of the competition.”

Can you share a success story from a local SEO campaign centered around your area?

“Yes, I would like to highlight a local SEO campaign we implemented for our client from the health sector. They were looking to expand their presence in northern Nevada. We worked on optimizing certain pages to showcase the local market and used business listings with proper manual citations. We managed to achieve 300 percent traffic growth in a couple of months. It was a great milestone for the team and a win for the brand by any metric.”

What is the best advice you ever received in business?

“The singularity of focus is the best advice I received from my mentor. With laser-like focus, I have managed to attain great domain knowledge and achieve incredible heights in my professional career.”

What do you think is the most important quality that makes an SEO agency truly great?

“I believe that a transparent and ethical financial model with exceptional client service is the key to running a successful agency. Agencies who manage to do this over time tend to win more business and expand their portfolio, which only bolsters their confidence.”

Any predictions for the future of SEO?

“I think the future of SEO is all about content-driven marketing. Voice search will continue to grow and it will dominate the search engine results page (SERP), and the manual search will slowly lose its prominence. Voice search will solve user problems and improve their experience. Voice-driven technology has improved massively since its inception, so keeping this in mind, we will have to optimize further for voice search for both PC and mobile devices.”

What is your reaction when you hear that “SEO is dying”?

“This debate has been going on for a long time. I would love to say that SEO is, in fact, evolving. SEO is like a holy Bible; it will never lose its prominence. As long as the search is happening on the web, SEO will never die. All we need to do is keep abreast of the ever-changing Google algorithm. Much like how the human body reacts to external stimuli, we as an agency should respond to the constant updates that the Big G is making!”

What do you think is the most important contributor to keeping clients happy?

“Personalized service, good business results and empathy is our motto. Clients appreciate it, understand it and are going to stick with you for a long period, which is our ultimate goal!”
