We’re excited to have interviewed San Jose SEO expert Max Zakhozhyi, from UAATEAM, for the next installment of our Featured SEO Expert Series!
UAATEAM is one of SEOblog’s top SEO companies in San Jose.
Max is co-owner and CMO at UAATEAM digital agency. UAATEAM comprises a team of 50-plus professionals in digital marketing based around the world. UAATEAM’s goal is to provide its clients with complex digital marketing solutions.
“It’s not that unique, but certainly more challenging. SEO is different according to region because of many factors. People search differently, and Google has slightly different restrictions and rules for some countries. If you work with a client from another country, you have to do some research before starting and read up on a few case studies about SEO in this region. The usual strategies cannot be effective, even these may have been great for your local market. Also, services are different. For example, U.S. and E.U. markets often don’t use tools for backlinks or outreach; they prefer manual work. We prefer to automate as many processes as we can.”
“We use methods which can differentiate us from other companies. We work on an hourly rate only, so our clients always know what they pay for. We are always in touch with our clients and ready to discuss any step. Also, we prefer to suggest better solutions for clients, ones they may not have even considered. One more point: We allow ourselves to decline offers if we didn’t find common ground with clients – communication matters!”
“I can say that it’s easier and a bit cheaper to do SEO in the Ukrainian market. The reason for this is very clear. The more budget you have, the better positions you can earn. There are better specialists, more copywriters, high-quality links etc. But also, vitality matters – it’s a good way to get free reach and improve your ranking.”
“First: Always show true results, even if it’s worse than your goal. Second: Communication and relations between your team and the client are more important than money.”
“Results and approach. Clients should always understand what is going on and what they are paying for.”
“It will be more automated. Also, social networks will hold even more weight than they do now.”
“When I hear that someone has said ‘SEO is dead,’ I assume this person doesn’t understand what SEO is. It can transform and become something we never thought it would. New tools, services, rules or restrictions may appear. But it’s definitely alive.”
“The most important thing is surely results. If you can provide clients with great results for good price, they will be always happy. But also, the same things remain important: Communication, honesty and deadlines.”
